Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. With a atoufoces lens do I sill able to use atoufoces?

A: No, Metabones Nikon F Lens to Sony E-mount Camera T Adapter III (Black) has no electronic comunication between the camera and the lens, therefore you will need to control focus and exposure manually.

Q: 2. Will this work for Nikon PC-E Micro Nikkor 85mm f2.8 D

A: Yes, the Metabones Nikon F Lens to Sony E-mount Camera T Adapter III (Black) will accept the Nikon PC-E Micro-NIKKOR 85mm f/2.8D Tilt-Shift Lens.

Q: 3. Will this work with an old Nikkor AI 50mm f/1.4?

A: Yes

Q: 4. Why are the Leica M adapters listed with a tripod foot when they don't appear to have one?

A: I have a Leica M mount to use with a Sony A7R II and it does not have a tripod foot. I did not see a tripod foot on a picture of M mount adaptor.

Q: 5. Please describe the entire mounting process... sounds like a stupid question?? but I don't want to do anything that could damage my sensor

A: Attach the Metabones Nikon F Lens to Sony E-mount Camera T Adapter III (Black) to the Sony camera, using the lens mounting opening. Then, attach the Nikon lens to the adapter. When removing this, reverse your actions and take the lens off the adapter first, then the adapter off the camera.

Q: 6. Will this work with the Sony A6700?

A: Yes the Metabones Nikon F Lens to Sony E-mount Camera T Adapter III is compatible with the Sony A6700 camera.

Q: 7. Is this flash system compatible with the Nikon D7500 and a Sigma Macro 105mm lens. And do I need exclusive to have a SU-800 Commander Unit?

A: There should not be any problems working with the above items. The Nikon D7500, as previous versions D7200, has a built in wireless flash commander option, and therefore it will commands the flash without the SU-800 unit. The flash system kit includes multiple adapters in many sizes, so no problem should be to attach the flash to Sigma 105mm lens. One issue you need to be aware of is the oddly batteries the R1C1 uses

Q: 8. Is this compatible with the Fujifilm XE-3?

A: I'm sorry but this grip is not compatible with the XE3.

Q: 9. What is function of the button on the Minolta MD version of this Adapter? How does this adapter perform with MC lenses?

A: The button on the side is the mount release button. It is the equivalent of the lens release button on the camera body. I use this adapter with my MC Rokkor lenses. The MC and MD series Minolta lenses both use the same mount which is technically the SR mount making them both compatible with this adapter.

Q: 10. Is ok to use in full frame a7s? No vignet in corner?

A: Being that this adapter takes full frame 35mm lenses, it will not cause vignetting when using the adapter on the A7S.
