The AKG P4 Dynamic Instrument Microphone is designed for use on drums, percussion, wind instruments, and guitar amps.

The cardioid polar pattern focuses on sound in front of the mic while reducing feedback and unwanted noise from behind. The mic withstands high SPL and features a neutral frequency response that is well suited for general instrument capturing in sound reinforcement, rehearsals, project studio recording, and more.

The P4 is made of solid metal to withstand tough day-by-day stage use. An integrated stand adapter for snare and toms makes it versatile and easy to use. A bag is included for safe transport and storage.

Q: 9. I have the Fuji GFX camers with lots of Megapixels. Want a 2nd lighter camera for wildlife and bird. Cannot decide between the A7 IV and the A9 ii. What are the main differences besides megapixels and FPS?

A: The a9ii has a stacked sensor that allows the sensor to be scanned very quickly. So it has less rolling shutter in video and you can also use it in silent electronic shutter and not get distortions. Unfortunately the a7iv does not have the stacked sensor, so you get more rolling shutter distortions and in silent mode you can get banding. Better to only use the a7iv in regular mechanical shutter.

Q: 10. Can this camera wirelessly tether to Capture One?

A: You cannot directly wirelessly tether to Capture One using the Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera. The Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera will support wired tethering with Capture One version 22 (15.0.0) when using Capture One Pro 22 or Capture One Pro 22 for Sony (but NOT with Capture One Express for Sony); Sony/Pro required for tethering + Live View. You would have to purchase a wireless transmitter such as the Vello LW-500-U Extendá Plus for Lightroom and Capture One Wireless Tethering, B&H # VELW500U, for wireless tethering usage needs with the Sony Alpha a7 IV Mirrorless Digital Camera.
