I thought it did, but one of the reviews mentions that the lens does not rotate like the old version so they were able to use their polarizing filter. A: No, the front of the lens does not rotate. This what is referred to as an inner focusing/internal focusing lens which means that the rotation of the optics takes place inside the lens, so that one may use filters such as circular polarizers or gradient filters which accomodate the horizon without any issues.

A: Yes. The Canon EOS 1100D is from the Rebel series. The Rebel series cameras are compatible with all Canon lenses.

A: Adding a teleconverter to any lens will always degrade the sharpness and image quality. If I were to do wildlife I would buy the 400mm f/5.6. The cost of the 400mm would be comparable to the 70-200mm f/4 along with a teleconverter and the 400mm will produce higher quality images than the 70-200mm with a teleconverter.

A: This lens will work well with a Canon EOS T7i.

A: The lens weighs 2.31 lb (1050 g). This is not light by any means, however, it is, by comparison, one pound lighter than the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens. Unless you need or want a more shallow depth of field (for example, for portraits) or speed of a 2.8, the 70-300mm takes nice sharp, contrasty photos plus has the extra 100mm reach. Happy shooting!
