Q: 3. What is in the box ? What is there ? Tell us every thing from the charger to every thing

A: Sony a7C Mirrorless Camera with 28-60mm Lens (Silver) includes in the box: Sony a7C Mirrorless Camera (Silver) Sony NP-FZ100 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery (2280mAh) AC Adapter USB Type-A to USB Type-C Cable Shoulder Strap Sony ALC-B1EM Body Cap for E-Mount Cameras Accessory Shoe Cap Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 Lens Sony ALC-F405S 40.5mm Front Lens Cap Sony ALC-R1EM Rear Lens Cap Limited 1-Year Warranty

Q: 4. I don't understand all the discussion about APS-C E mount crop sensors. So, will my Sony E 4.5-6.3/55-210 OSS lens for my A6000 work the same on this camera?

A: The Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS Lens will work on the Sony a7C Mirrorless Camera, but not in the same way it works on a camera with an APS-C size image sensor, like the a6000. The a7C automatically crops the sensor to APS-C size when an APS-C lens is mounted on it. So image taken with the 55-210mm lens on the a7C will not be full-frame images; they will be APS-C size images.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with the Sony FDA-EVM1K EVF? (I know this camera has a built-in EVF -- the advantage of using the FDA-EVM1K is that it is articulating and therefore good for low angle & stealth shots).

A: no its not compatible wit Sony FDA-EVM1K EVF

Q: 6. Does the A7C have a built in intervalometer?

A: Hi, the camera does have built in Interval Shooting Function. Please follow the link for more info : https://helpguide.sony.net/ilc/2020/v1/en/contents/TP0002053238.html?search=time%20lapse

Q: 7. Would you consider this a good walk around camera, if I don't want to use the A7RV. Also, what lens work best with the A&C?

A: Yes the Sony a7C Mirrorless Camera with 28-60mm Lens is a good walking around camera and lens combination because it is much smaller and lighter weight than a full size camera like the A7RV. I would recommend the 28-60mm lens for use as a walk around lens due to the size. Other lenses may be better depending on the subject matter but any lens that works in the A7RV will also work on the A7C,

Q: 8. How does it compare to A7iii? Better?

A: The A7C has greater battery life and a fully articulated LCD screen over the A7 III. Otherwise, they share many of the same features.

Q: 9. Is there a switch that puts the sensor in APS-C mode?

A: In the menu, there is a switch that sets the aps-c mode from OFF, ON or AUTO..

Q: 10. Is it possible to record on the card in the camera while at the same time running an hdmi cable to a monitor?

A: Yes. After testing it for myself to confirm, the Sony A7C can record while outputting to an external monitor with some caveats. Firstly, in 4K it is limited to 24p and will disable the LCD when recording in 30p. Secondly, you have to make sure "HDMI Info. Display" (in the HDMI settings page in your camera menu) is set to OFF.
