The ECMR/52GTR Wireless Microphone System (D) from Galaxy Audio includes a 200' (61 m) range, which provides a lot of wiggle room for anyone putting on a performance. The ECMR has 16 selectable channels, diversity antennas, which are mounted to the front of the rugged plastic casing and allows for an IR sync. The MBP52 bodypack transmitter has a 0/-10/mic selector switch.
The system includes the ECMR (receiver), MBP52 (bodypack transmitter), AS-GTR (guitar cable), power supply and 1/4-1/4" output cable. Everything you need for a flexible wireless microphone system.

The solution ships with an ECMR (receiver), MBP52 (body pack transmitter), AS-GTR (guitar cable), power supply, and a 1/4-1/4" output cable
The ECMR can be used and will sync with the MBP52 transmitter. The transmitter is powered by (2) AA batteries. The MBP52 bodypack transmitter has a 0/-10/Mic selector switch
The guitar cable (AS-GTR) works with all Galaxy bodypack transmitters

Q: 4. I have a Vivitar DF-683-CAN model flash with built in radio function. Will the transmitter trigger this flash when its on slave function? Also will the receiver trigger another flash if I have the Vivitar as my master flash? I guess what I'm asking is are the channels the same between them? The Vivitar is Canon TTL compatible. A: Not exactly sure why you would need this unit unless your secondary flash has no slave function. I attach the transmitter to the camera and the receiver to one of my studio flashes or master and the others all slave to it. All my lights have adjustable flash power. I've also used a master flash attached to the camera hot shoe to fire all the units.Hope that helps.

A: I am using the system with a transmitter, 2 receivers, 2 nikon flash units and a D750 with great results. No issues whatsoever. Have also used as a shutter remote trigger.

A: I do not have a Nikon SB-400, the FreeWave did work well on my D3200 with my flash.

Q: 10. Will this work with the YN600ex RT flash? The cheaper knockoff canon flash?
A: The 600ex works with the Freewave Captain but I found that the position of the 600ex is critical because of differences in dimensions. When I initally tried this combination with the flash fully inserted into the Captain, it would not fire, but when I pulled back slightly on the 600ex, it worked. YMMV!
