This is a 240 sheet box of 17 x 22" Luster Premium Single Sided Photograde Inkjet Paper from Inkpress. The high-resolution produced by this resin coated paper combined with its ultra absorbent character make it a great choice for the most discriminating of printers. The paper dries very quickly which is an important consideration when printing since it minimizes the possibility of puddling and black (shadows) highlighting or laying on top of the surface of the paper.

Q: 1. How is image quality (IQ) compared to Tamron 17-55mm f/2.8? I own the Tamron and it is OK but I'd like better IQ. However, I'd hate to waste money on the far more expensive Canon if the IQ is comparable. Anyone have experience with both?

A: Unfortunately I do not own the Tamron lens, so I cannot make a direct comparison. I do like the Canon lens, like you I am not sure that it commands the added expense. I believe if you are very critical of IQ you would find the Canon is a subjectively better lens. You can make a comparison of both lens' photos on the DXO mark site.

Q: 2. Does the electronic aperture control work with the BM Pocket 6k?

A: Yes, the electronic apertures can be driven using a BM pocket unit. Just keep in mind that the following BM unit is power hungry.

Q: 3. Is this lens good for high school basketball

A: If it is your only lens, you'll find it too short overall, BUT this focal length pairs nicely with a 70-200mm lens for wider angle images under the basket.

Q: 4. Will this lens be a good upgrade from my 80d's kit lens? I need it to perform good good for stills and video especially with autofocus.

A: Not sure what comes with the 80D kit, but this is a fantastic wide angle lens and never dissappoints me, even in less than desirable conditions. I'm not much for video, but my guess is that it will perform beyond your expectations.

Q: 5. Is this a good zoom lens for shooting in limited light, such as an auditorium or in a theater without a flash?

A: I would recommend purchasing the brightest lens possible for your stated usage needs. Of the options we carry with a similar focal length and which would be compatible for use on the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T5i DSLR camera, I would recommend the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens for Canon EF, B&H # SI183518DCC, for your usage needs. The constant f/1.8 aperture is 2.3 f-stops brighter than the f/4 aperture used on the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Lens. As an example, if your shooting conditions require you to have an exposure of f/4 at 1/13 sec. to get a properly exposed image, and there is a chance you can get blurred images due to a slow shutter speed, the Sigma lens would give you the ability to shoot an equivalent exposure of f/1.8 at 1/60 sec., which is much faster to hand-hold this lens at any of its focal lengths with minimum blur from hand movement. You may further use a higher ISO setting to assist in obtaining an exposure with a shutter speed fast enough for your specific lighting conditions. However, do note that the lighting conditions you list above are extreme, so you may need a higher-than-normal ISO setting, and which is why the brighter Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens for Canon EF would be a better option for your indicated usage needs.

Q: 6. Being that this is for an apsc camera, does that mean that it is 17-55 and not multiplied by the 1.6x crop factor. Ik that with full frame lenses it is, but being that this is for an apsc I'm just confirming that it is true 17-55

A: Whether this is an aps-c lens or full frame, you still have to do the math on a cropped sensor camera. You will always have to do the magnification factor with any lens, for example 17-55mm x1.5 crop factor.

Q: 7. Will this lens work with a Canon Rebel T3i?

Q: 8. Hi, would this lens work on the Canon Rebel T3i?

A: Yes, it is 100% compatible with the T3i.

Q: 9. is this lens works good with Panasonic S1H with adapter?

A: The lens will not work unless the proper adapter is equipped Please look into the following item Canon EF to L adapter https://bhpho.to/3spc9RS
