Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit the mefoto walk about monopod?

A: Really Right Stuff Monopod Head with Indexing Lever-Release Clamp BH #REMH02LR will not directly fit the MeFOTO WalkAbout Aluminum Monopod so you will need a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing.

Q: 2. Can this RRS 60mm full-size leaver clamp be mounted onto a RRS BH-40 ball head?

A: If you already have a -20 x 3/4 Flat head screw, there should no problem. If you dont, get one.Or you could choose B2-AS-II-1/4-20 instead.

Q: 3. Is there any way to adjust opened (or closed) size of that clamp ? I saw other brands have extra adjustment screw for fine tuning. What about this one ?

A: No there is no adjustment, I have numerous ones and have never had a problem with it becoming too lose. The clamp must be completely open to place a camera or lense in it. With the clamp half open you can only slide the lense forward or backward for balance. You want to make sure you have the stopping screws in on the lense plate or the lense/camera could fall out of the clamp when it is half open. Also, when stopping screws are in the lense plate they are the reason the clamp must be completely open so that the lense plate can be dropped in. They are the reason you can not slide the lense plate into the clamp with it only half open.

Q: 4. Does this accommodate the 38mm Arca-Swiss camera plates?

A: Yes it is compatible with standard Arca Swiss compatible plates.

Q: 5. Will this clamp fit on another brand Ball Head I have a Sirui?

A: I mounted mine to a FLM ballhead using the provided 3/8 to 1/4 x20. Works great

Q: 6. will this work on the Manfrotto Carbon Fiber TRavel Tripod #494?

A: Yes, it will connect to any standard 1/4"-20 or 3/8" screw on tripod plates/heads.

Q: 7. Does this monopod come with a base plate included? Do I need to specifically purchase separate base plates for my Canon 5d4 and larger lenses such as the Canon 100-400mm IS II and 70-200mm f2.8 is II?

A: I HAVE THE VERSION WITH THE KNOB RATHER THAN THE QUICK RELEASE LEVER. MOUNTING PLATES ARE ATTACHED TO CAMERAS AND BODIES AND TEND TO BE MODEL SPECIFIC. FOR THIS REASON, THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED AS PART OF THE MONOPOD HEAD. A CHECK OF THE INCLUDED IN THE BOX SECTION WILL CONFIRM THIS FOR YOU.

Q: 8. Will these clamps open and close if put on a large flat base (larger that the entire clamp)? Its hard to tell in the pics if the moving part of the clamp is stepped up from the rest of the bottom allowing it to move freely or if this is just for a stem attachment. I have the RRS TA-LB lever release clamp but that has a solid bottom covering the entire clamp, even underneath the moving part.. it appears that this one doesn't have that.

A: Yes, it will still open and close on a larger base. The clamp goes to the bottom but it is slightly curved near the clamp to allow for movement.

Q: 9. Would this be compatiable with F38 base plate?

A: Yes, the Really Right Stuff Monopod Head with Indexing Lever-Release Clamp is compatible with Falcam's F38.

Q: 10. Do these fit on the Fujinon MK-R Zooms?

A: The FUJIFILM Focus Lever for MKX18-55mm T2.9 and MKX50-135mm T2.9 Lenses are meant to be used specifically on the MKX18-55mm T2.9 and MKX50-135mm T2.9 Lenses.
