The Gator Case 10 x 10" Classic Protechtor Tom Drum Case provides a safe, secure and stylish way to protect and transport your drum. This industry standard case has been designed under close manufacturing scrutiny to produce protection that is strong, reliable and water-resistant.

For any musician, protecting your instrument is critical - and if you've ever played in a band, you know that roadies and car trunks can be rough on gear. Loading and unloading under various climatic conditions puts your gear through stress - rain, wind and snow. However, when it's time to play, you want to know that your gear has made it to the gig in one piece and is ready to go. Gator Classic Tom Cases are made with the needs of the musician in mind.

The Classic Tom Drum Case is produced through a process called rotational molding - a 3-stage heating process that results in evenness all around the edges of the case. The polyethylene material is inserted into a mold, and then gradually rotated until the material sticks to the edges of the mold in an even pattern. Once cooled, this plastic material forms a strong bond that minimizes sagging and potential collapse. This case is manufactured to such high standards that it comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects.

Q: 1. RRS plate has two safety screw on bottom. If I put RRS plate on C1 cube’s clamp, does the safety screws lose its original function? Is the bottom of RRS plated going to be scratched or clashed? I would like to purchase C1, but not sure if it could work with RRS rail/plate perfectly? If it cannot, can I swap out Arca Swiss clamp and install RRS clamp on C1 head easily?

A: The safety stops seen on the Cube are primarily for the Slidefix QR system and do not interfere with Arca-Swiss plates typically. In this case, the RRS plate's safety screws will prevent it from sliding on, so you'd have to remove them. The Arca-Swiss clamp on the cube is replaceable, but the mounting screw might not be completely compatible with the RRS clamp.

Q: 2. Can I swap the clamp for a Really Right Stuff B2-Pro-II? Need a highly reliable way to use with my RRS brackets.

A: older models were a DIY - no longer applies, meaning they are using now a special hot glue and only an authorized repair shop can do it under warranty. The RRS knob is actually bigger than the AS, and I have no issues with AS version. OTOH, the AS quick lever clamp version has a few bad reviews

Q: 3. Is this lens compatible with the 5D mark II? In order to compensate the crop sensor

A: The Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Lens is not compatible with the 5D II. The EF-S lenses are not compatible with full frame cameras, and cannot be mounted on a FF camera.

Q: 4. I'm looking for a protective cover for the C1 that I can use while the head is still on the tripod. Any suggestions?

A: You could use the following wrap on the Arca-Swiss C1 Cube Geared Head with Arca Classic Quick Release with GP (Geared Panning) to protect the head while attached to the tripod legs: https://bhpho.to/3UP524T

Q: 5. Is this compatible with a camera from Spain? I mean, are lenses universal?

A: This MUST be mounted on a Canon 1.6x crop cameras. Will not work on full frame or 1.3x crop (1D Series). Great for Rebels xxxD and 20D - 70D bodies. Lens are not universal.

Q: 6. What is the difference between 2.2lb and 2.4lb and what are the advantages and disadvantages?

A: The difference between the Arca-Swiss C1 Cube Geared Head with Arca Classic Quick Release with GP (Geared Panning) and the Arca-Swiss C1 Cube Geared Head with Arca Classic Quick Release is that the GP version allows for both manual movement and geared movement if you wish to for a very precise rotation. There are no disadvantages to using the GP version over the classic, however the classic version is also a great option if you do not need a micrometric rotation.

Q: 7. Is there a serial # on this item?

A: Unfortunately, the Arca-Swiss C1 Cube Geared Head with Arca Classic Quick Release with GP (Geared Panning) does not have a serial number.

Q: 8. Do you need low profile filters or will normal filters work at 10mm?

A: When I used my polarizer in addition to a UV filter (stacked) I noticed I was getting some vignetting at 10-11mm.I removed the UV filter and used the polarizer only with no vignetting.

Q: 9. What is the difference between the 2.3 and 2.7 lb versions?

A: The heavier Cube has a geared panning.

Q: 10. does this lens work with the 70d and the 7d?

A: I have Canon EOS 70D, and it works fine
