A: The Gitzo 1202T bag will just barely fit the Gitzo Traveler Series 1 1545 with the 16.7" folded height, but you will not be able to leave a Gitzo 1382QD ball head on it. Even when you flip the legs around the center column in the suggested manner and tuck the mounting plate between the legs, the head does not come close to fitting into the bag with the tripod. The limiting factor is the width of the bag, not the height. If you want to store the tripod with the head, try the FLM FB 14-48 tripod bag. It fits in that.
