Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does it have composite video out?

A: It has HDMI video out.

Q: 2. Is the Nik Collection compatible with the D750? Lightroom Creative Cloud?

A: Yes. It is compatible with both NIK and LR CC. I use them daily doing post on images from my two D-850s.

Q: 3. is the lens constant at f4?

A: If the question is: Does the lens open to f4 at all focal lengths, the answer isYES.

Q: 4. When you get a blinking err code what is the problem

A: If you're using an older lens with the aperture ring on it, you need to set the ring to its fully open setting so the camera can control the aperture with the wheel on the camera. If that doesn't fix it, call B&H or Nikon.

Q: 5. I am getting a flashing err code how can I fix this

A: I usually found the error to be a connection issue between the lens and camera. I have removed and reattached the lens 2 - 3 times to remove error. If that doesn't help, clean the contacts on the lens and camera body. It is possible that you may have touched the contacts leaving skin oil on the contacts. I suggest using a lint free cloth.

Q: 6. Does this camera model have just one card slot?

A: It has two (2) slots and you can specify what function it can have, backup or overflow. I use it as a backup for raw files for important events, overflow when I go on trips and don't want to transfer files or at family functions I save the raw in slot 1 and jpegs in slot 2.

Q: 7. I'm seeing some D-750s in the $1300 range at some of your competitors sites. Are these the dreaded grey market cameras? How can a person tell a legitimate product from one that isn't?

A: In situations where B&H offers both a USA and an imported version of a product, we label each version clearly and explicitly. If a product does not have an indication either way, it is understood to be by default a USA product. In situations where only a USA version is offered it will not be labeled USA. As Nikon sets unilateral pricing for their authorized retailers for their US warranty products, any lower pricing is likely a gray market item, though not being our competitors, we cannot confirm as the answer would need to come from the retailer directly.

Q: 8. I am thinking about getting the D500 as all my lens are DX.Right now I shoot with the D300 and D7100.So I am wondering should I go with the one or the other?I do mostly landscapes and old barns,Houses and cars/trucks.

A: I had the same dilemma. I ended up choosing the 750 because it has the built in flash and is slightly more versatile. The larger sensor seems to give sharper images and any FX lens can be used on a DX camera. So far we love the 750.

Q: 9. I have the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm 1:1.8 G lens will this work on the D750? I currently have the D5300. Thanks?

A: The AF-S 85mm f/1.8G lens will be fully compatible with the D750, yes.

Q: 10. can I use my old manual lenses with this or what dslrs can accept old lenses?

A: I wish I could help you on this, but I bought the camera and lenses at the same time, so I don't really know. Sorry...
