The Tiffen 5 x 6" 81C Light Balancing Filter helps to decrease the color temperature by 400K in order to warm the image slightly in order to match the color quality of illumination. When using an 81C filter, you will be able to attain 3200K balance when the prevailing light source is 3600K. The warming effect of this filter requires a 0.3-stop increase in exposure for normal results.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 5 x 6" / 127 x 152.4mm.

You can trigger the lights with your Odin Transmitter which will work with channels 1234 and ABC groups (Strato II has D as well). The existence of this meter is due to an alliance with Phottix and there is discussion on ways to make the Odin II or perhaps the next version compatible a possibly backwards compatible with the current receivers. The alliance is just 8 months in. Bigger things to come. Should the capability happen with Phottix, the 478PX is just a firmware upgrade from being capable of controlling it. (ya hear that Phottix?)
