The Relay Extender from PunchLight allows you to control devices such as speakers, a microphone, and light system. It can connect to a PunchLight MIDI or PunchLight GPI (sold separately) and automatically turn the appropriate gear on or off.

A: Yes, as long as the monitor uses the NP-F battery, it will work perfect.

Q: 7. Can I connect this directly to the DC port on the Atomos Ninja Assassin?

A: The Atomos Ninja Assassin supports NP-F series batteries. So if you use this in combination with the Relay Coupler #CRCNPF. I don't see this coupler in B&H's stock but you could ask them to carry it.

Q: 8. Will this product work with name brand DC couplers? For example, I have the Panasonic DMW-DCC8 and DMW-DCC6 couplers for my FZ1000 and FZ80 respectively... will this product plug into these DC couplers, or would I need to buy the DC couplers made by Tether Tools?

A: I have two of these that I run on GH5 and GH5s's using the Anker 13,000mah pack. I have only tested it with the Tether Tools adapter, but it sounds like it should work with the Panasonic adapter equally from what I read. I actually ran full tests just this week. On the GH5s at 4K/30p/100mbps with the display screen open/on, I shut it off when the Case Relay was red but still running at 7 hours and 50 minutes! I also tried on the GH5 and was getting around 7 hours or so. I ran the GH5 with the Panasonic XLR adapter and two SM81 mic's on phantom power and it ran for 6 1/2 hours continuous.

Q: 9. I have the Panasonic DMW-DCC12 and an Anker PowerCore 13000. Will this work with those two items to power my GH5? Can you tell me how long I could shoot video with the GH5 with that battery and the Case Relay?

Q: 10. How many total clamps are included? Is it one for each arm? Or just the two pictured?

Needed to set up a D500 so a presenter could record 2 half hour presentations a day for 2 weeks without me being there. We did a couple of dry runs and I realized I didn't want the be swapping batteries every day. That required 4 of my 7 EN-EL15 batteries, 2 in the body-grip and 2 charging, plus me stopping by every day and the chance of accidently changing focus or framing. Nikon was out of stock for their AC adapter and I really didn't want to put a $25 power supply in my camera unattended for 2 weeks. Found this from Tether Tools and decided it was what I wanted. Worked great, used a 3 amp USB charger to power it up and just left it. Checked it when I swapped drives in the recorder but never did anything to it, worked great. I did gaff tape the connection to the battery adapter just in case, something better than a barrel connector would be nice since if it got yanked on everything would stop. 5

I bought this Tether Tools Case Relay Camera Power System along with the Tether Tools Relay Camera Coupler For Canon Cameras With Lp-E6 Battery, and Tether Tools Strapmoore. I also got 2 HyperGear Dual USB Power Bank 20000mAh Universal Portable Rapid Charge power banks. I shot 2, 8-hr days of video this week, and barely used up 2 out of 5 lights of charge. This is a great power solution for time lapse, or video. Plug in the adapter into the camera battery compartment. (My Canon 80D has a rubber flap that allows the cord to stick out and still close the door.) Wrap up the Case relay, and power bank in the Strapmore velcro and strap it to a tripod leg. Easy and convenient, and don't worry about changing batteries. 5

I really do hate wires and cables - always tangled and in the way. We've been using one of these for a few years and it has been great, so I saw a sale on and added a second to the setup. I have read some negative reviews, but we've had nothing but success with it for 3 or 4 years now at least. Firmware updates can be a bit tricky, but I've managed to get through them - other than that, it's a handy way to get rid of one more wire! :D 5

Anyone using a Canon EOS-M for videography can attest that you need to bring extra batteries for your shoot or plan on having short shoot times. Using the Tether Tools Case Relay Camera Power System will extend your shooting times into hours instead of minutes. The system will include the appropriate battery coupler for the EOS-M. I used this for my videography project especially during the ceremony where I need to use an external battery for extra duration. It works perfectly! Definitely a real life saver when you can just leave the camera rolling at all time. 5

I bought this to use for powering long duration time lapses in remote locations. I have several external batteries that have USB outputs that will power the Case for overnight or longer duration time lapses. 5
