The Recording PlexSign from PunchLight is a light unit set in high-grade plexiglass. The illuminated letters are engraved using a high-precision milling technique. The PlexSign can be connected to the PunchLight DLi, PunchLight GPI, or the PunchLight MIDI (sold separately), and of which act as a trigger. The product displays "RECORDING" in red and has a yellow light for "Record Ready". It attaches to any door or wall via two short wires with hooks and comes in a brushed aluminum casing.

A: Not all USB cables are the same. You might try several brands or styles before you find one that works consistently. In general, I find that USB C to USB micro or mini cables tend to not work, or worse, work for a while then lock up with a SoundDesign MixPre 10. According to their tech, USB cables need pull-up resistors to work properly. Maybe true for Steinberg I/O too.
