The Whirlwind Medusa MultiSnake is perfect for organizing acoustic instruments, keyboards and vocal frontlines. This snake combines four of Whirlwind's MultiDirector premium direct boxes with four XLR mic lines and four 1/4" DI lines in one small drop snake measuring 9.5 (with handle) x 5.25 x 2.5". In addition, the box also features six XLR - 1/4" combo sockets for "thru" monitoring.

The DI channels feature individual ground lift switches and their fanout ends are color-coded yellow.

The autofocus is acceptable when using the flexible spot on an a7RII, but where this lens sings is on image quality - sharp with nice bokeh, pleasing color and macro close focus. Plus it's lightweight, easy to tote around. Another feature I like is the hood, which firmly clicks onto the front bayonet mount. It has a cutout like a matte box and gives the front element ample protection. The filter threads are covered by the hood, but it also has filter threads. I had this lens before I got my fancy zooms, but bought it again as a carry lens, because I like its outstanding image quality and light weight. 5

This lens is actually pretty decent for walk-around. Although not as good as any Sony prime, it has its moments. It's definitely worth It's price. Good sharpness and nice contrast. 5
