Providing an ideal solution for combining Endura V-Mount batteries to handheld cameras without the standard V-Mount style battery lock, the plate offers precise DC power connectivity.

For camera systems compliant with DigiView, the remaining battery power can be displayed in the viewfinder. Featuring dual 2-pin D-taps, the plate uses 1 tap for regulated 8.4V. The second D-tap offers up to 16.8V (for IDX Lithium ion batteries) unregulated battery throughput for equipment such as lights and HDD recorders.

You can use the Endura V-Mount Plate for a variety of cameras using the optional IDX cables specific to the camera models. The maximum power output available from the plate is 50W, and it measures 3.25 x 5.59 x .47" and weighs 0.40 lb.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will these work with Ikan LED lights?

A: Yes they will

Q: 2. What's the differnce between this one and IDX CUE-D150. That one is only $269. Huge price difference?

A: These are the same model of battery with the same power. However the cheaper one has only 1 x d-tap while more expensive one has 2 x d-tap plus a USB. In any event, the cheaper one appears to be about to be replaced by the more expensive version. You might wish to purchase now and save.

Q: 3. Will this work with a red one

A: We have found no information that says this communicates with the RED camera protocols.

Q: 4. Does this come with a charger?

A: This product does not include a charger. IDX offers a nice charger that you can purchase with it, which is B&H #IDVL2. We also have a kit, B&H #IDDUO95CK, which has 2 of these batteries and the IDX charger.

Q: 5. Can this be charged with a VL2000S charger?

A: Im 95% sure it will work. I own the standing version on the VL20005 and I know that it is a smart charger. Here is my reasoning. My URSA and Raven both use V Lock batteries of different sizes. Each of the battery pairs use the same charger. This is actually smart of the manufacturer and streamlines your charging needs.

Q: 6. Can this battery be use for zoom f4?

A: Yes, you will just need the Remote Audio Anton Bauer PowerTap to 4-Pin Male Hirose DC Power Cable (14"), BH #RECAPTAPHIR. https://bhpho.to/347M0wh

Q: 7. Will this battery charge on other branded chargers? Im having issues with some of them.

A: Best practice would be to charge the battery on IDX branded chargers, although some models from other brands may work, but since this is not an exact and tested solution, we would recommend to use IDX chargers.

Q: 8. Do the batteries have a USB connection?

A: There is a single USB type A port on the battery.

Q: 9. how long does it take to charge, and what is approximate life...say on an ursa mini 4K?

A: Not sure how long it takes to charge those because I leave it charging at the end of the day when totally empty. But more than one hour.I have the IDX VL-2 PLUS charger.

Q: 10. Has anyone used this battery to power a Nikon D850 w/ dummy battery adapter?

A: That should certainly be possible, with the proper Dummy Battery Cable. https://bhpho.to/37T9U0Q

If you are set up with the quick release system this unit works great on mono pods, Gorillapods and other similar items.

This lets you put a quick release plate on most standard screw fittings. The one unexpected feature for me was that it came with a screw thread adapter which allows it to be used with smaller (1/4?) threads as well as the typical larger 3/8 threads. I purchased this so I could use my DSLRs on some used video tripods I recently bought. Those tripods use large hexagonal quick release plates, but the same issue would be true if you had any other tripod that used a different quick release system from the standard Manfrotto small camera plates. By attaching this quick release adapter to the hexagonal quick release plate, I can now continue to leave one type of quick release plate on the bottom of all my cameras and big lenses so that all my gear is interchangeable. Neato!

I had a tripod head that I wasn't fond of the Quick release plate so I purchased this to replace it.

I trust my Canon 5D and 7D on this product. I use this on an Aerial Gimbal which at times does flip the camera upside and up to 400ft high. I have purchased serveral to easily change where I mount the camera.

This is exactly what a DSLR shoulder rig needs to make a quick battery or lens change on a rail system possible!

Its become and esencial part of my panoramic kit for Canon 7D. Very well buid - exactly what you would expect from Manfrotto. If you use Manfrotto-type gear and tripod -RC2 is a must have.
