The Kirk PZ-143 Camera Plate for Nikon D7000 With MB-D11 Battery Grip is a quick release plate that's designed specifically for the Nikon D7000 with a MB-D11 battery grip attached. Its dovetail fits Arca-Swiss-style clamps to enable a quick release from a tripod head.

The plate is machined in the U.S. from 6061 T6 aluminum, and it includes a stainless-steel Allen screw for attaching it to the camera. Two additional screws serve as safety stops; in case the clamp is inadvertently left loose, the smaller screws will help stop the camera & plate from sliding all the way off the head.

Two Allen keys are included with the camera plate.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Exact size? I am trying to add this to a non-Arca L-bracket (Wephoto).

A: While we do have the weight of the Kirk PZ-186 Camera Plate for Nikon Z 7II, Z 6II, Z 7, Z 6, and Z 5 listed as 1.5 oz (43 g), as of the date/time of this reply, we do not have the dimensions of the Kirk PZ-186 Camera Plate.

Q: 2. I see a number of books listed as accessories for this plate but I don't see the L-component listed. Does that mean you don't sell it?

A: Unfortunately we currently do not sell the L-component alone. However, we do carry B&H# REBMBD17LLPL which are both components together as a full L plate set.

Q: 3. What is the length of this plate?

A: The Kirk Camera Plate for Nikon Z6 III is not in stock or on display to measure it, but it covers the bottom of the Z7III camera from the left side to the battery door hinge, thus, it allows you to change the battery while using the plate. It would be similar to what you see here for the Z6II plate: https://bhpho.to/4fwgmeW.

Q: 4. What is the difference between the "BG-R10 grip" and "body only"?

A: The Kirk PZ-185 Camera Plate for Canon EOS R5 and R6 with BG-R10 Grip (B&H # KIPZ185) has a double-sided anti-twist lip that prevents the camera from rotating and the Kirk Camera Plate for Canon EOS R5 and R6 Digital Cameras (B&H # KICPCER5) does not have the lip.

Q: 5. does it come with QD socket?

A: Yes, the Really Right Stuff BMBD12 Base Plate for Nikon MB-D12 Battery Grip has a QD socket.

Q: 6. Will this fit a Nikon D7100 with MB-D15 battery grip?

A: No. The RRS L-plate for Nikon D7000 with MB-D11 grip will not fit on the Nikon D7100 with a MB-D15 battery grip.

Q: 7. Can the PZ-186 attach to the bottom of an MB-N10 battery grip?

A: Yes, the Kirk PZ-186 Camera Plate fits on the bottom of the MB-N10 battery grip.

Q: 8. Will this fit the Canon R3?

A: Unfortunately, the Kirk PZ-17 Universal Camera Plate with QD Port would not fit a full body camera like a Canon EOS R3 Mirrorless Camera. You could use the Really Right Stuff Baseplate for Canon EOS R3, which is a dedicated Arca-Type base plate for the Canon EOS R3 Mirrorless Camera: https://bhpho.to/3rQYhl4. .

Q: 9. Hello! Can anyone confirm if this plate clamps properly and tightly with the Really Right Stuff lever clamp ballheads (mine is the BH-55)?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the Kirk PZ-185 Camera Plate for Canon EOS R5 and R6 with BG-R10 Grip would be compatible for use with the lever clamp used on the Really Right Stuff BH-55 Ball Head. According to Really Right Stuff's website, only Really Right Stuff and Wimberly build their quick release plates to the same tolerances. While screw-knob style clamps are much more forgiving of slight differences in plate width, Really Right Stuff's screw-knob clamps will work with all versions of Arca-type compatible quick release plates. However, as Really Right Stuff's lever-release clamps are not user-adjustable and the plates used in the clam have the be EXACTLY the right width, they only guarantee Really Right Stuff and Wimberley plates as compatible with their lever clamps, so I cannot guarantee the Kirk plate will work with your ball head/clamp.

Q: 10. Will this fit a Leica M body?

A: No, this is made specifically for the Sony Alpha a9, a7R III, a7 III, and Fujifilm X-H1 camera bodies.
