Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work on the Fuji X series? For example the Fuji 18-55mm kit lens. As it's a cropped sensor would it make a difference?

A: This adapter requires a lens that has the proper filter thread along with the proper focal length and diameter of the lens itself. For APS-C cameras the focal length needs to be between 35-85mm, that lens will have a portion that is not usable. It also requires to have a lens diameter of no more than 50mm and the lens you suggested is larger than that. We do not believe they will be compatible.

Q: 2. Will it fit the eos t5

A: This will not fit the T5.

Q: 3. Will this diopter fit the Canon 6D ?

A: I don't know. It does fit a Canon 7D and so far as I know it should fit the 6D but I have never seen a 6D except in pictures. If the eyepiece looks like the above it should work as it replaces that.

Q: 4. Will either of the pockets accommodate a Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT?

A: The Lowepro Photo Active TLZ 50 AW Top-Loader is only made for a camera plus a lens and would not have room for a flash. This Lowepro Nova 160 would be a better option for carrying a camera plus a lens and a flash: https://bhpho.to/3MX6QDZ

Q: 5. Fuji 55-200mm

A: 50-140 has much much faster focus, and 50-140 is also weather resistant. But the 55-200 is great for a backpack or a weekend trip if you don't really need a 2.8 lens. Very sharp.

Q: 6. My Opthamologist was not able to help me figure out what diopter to get, any help on how to figure it out is appreciated?

A: This diopter magnifies 2x.These are like using 2x magnifier readers while looking through the viewfinder, but without the actual glasses on. Hope that helps some.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with the Canon EVF?

A: If you are talking about the EVF-DC1 I do not believe it fits. I think the recess is a bit deeper and a slightly different shape. The EG diopter has a clip back and slides over the permanent eyepiece on the 5D Mark II and III SLRs. I do wish that Canon would boost the adjustable diopters to +3. I hope this helps.

Q: 8. Does this lens have a permanently fixed aperture? If not, does it offer aperture control when used with the Speed Booster?

A: I'm not sure I understand your question, but to answer it literally...No, it doesn't have a fixed aperture...a fixed aperture would be a single f/stop on the lens... The aperture goes from f1.8 down to f22. There is no aperture ring on the lens, so you have to dial your f/stop up and dow using the dials on your camera. I have no idea what a Speed Booster is so I can't answer that. What I can say from using this lens almost every day since I bought it is that it is the single sharpest lens I have ever used and I would buy it again without hesitation or qualms.

Q: 9. What's the difference between the Slr magic $599 vs $299 rangefinder? The information looks the same. The only thing I see that's different is that there are number indicator on the $599.

A: The principal difference and the reason for the cost is that the SLR Magic Rangefinder Cine Adapter B&H # SLR77RFWM works with the SLR Magic Anamorphot series of adapters, currently 1.33x and 2x. The SLR Magic Rangefinder Cine Adapter with Near/Normal Calibration (72mm) B&H # SLR72RFNN, on the other hand, cannot work with the Anamorphot lenses.

Q: 10. As i know SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 2.0x works better with 4:3 or APS-C Sensors. Here's my question to you, it will work if i will shoot 4K with my 5D Mark IV, which has crop factor 1.74x ?

A: It will not. the Anamorphot-50 is designed to work with cameras that have a 4:3 Anamorphic Mode. The 5D Mark IV does not have such a mode. You would need to look at the Anamorphot-50 1.33x instead.https://bhpho.to/2o7c4UO
