The Tiffen 77mm UV 15 Filter is a general use, clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. This filter is especially useful when photographing at high altitudes or around bodies of water. No additional coloration or contrast is provided, allowing you to pair this filter with others. This filter attenuates approximately 81% of UV radiation, slightly less than a UV 16 filter.

The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting to precision metal rings.

Q: 1. At what focal length (roughly) would the VideoMic GO start to creep into frame? I noticed it sticks out a fair bit, and I don't want to get a lens that is too wide to the point where the microphone can be seen in the footage. Thanks!

A: Anything wider than 15mm could potentially be an issue.

Q: 2. Is the electronic viewfinder active while shooting a video?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 3. Are settings saved when you turn off the camera?

A: Yes, the settings would be saved once the camera is turned off.

Q: 4. What are the differences between the Canon M50 vs. the M6 or M5? The M50 has Digic 8 vs. 7 and the M50 has continuous of 10 vs. 9. Are there any other substantial differences?

A: If you want a lot of manual control then this camera is not as good as the M5 or M6. I like this one more than those mainly because I do vlogging The Crowley Crew on YouTube and have been using the M3 which has a flip up screen like the M6. The M5 has a flip down screen also not good for vlogging. The main differences will be flip out screen as opposed to tilt (I would prefer tilt for photos flip for video) you also have 4K if you want to put up with manual focus and 2.5x crop. They both have the same sensor but the M50 has a faster processor eye detection AF improved dual pixel AF compressed RAW files and more options in video recording. In short I think if I was doing mainly photos and not much video I would get the M5 if I was doing mostly video I would get the M50. I would prefer either of those more than the M6 because of the EVF.

Q: 5. Does it have silent shooting

A: Yes, pages 87 and 90 of the manual talk about the silent shooting mode.

Q: 6. Does this camera crop the video it shoots in 4K?

A: Yes it sounds like it will be a 1.7 crop on top of the aps-c crop. So about like a GH4 in 4K.

Q: 7. explain the recording limitation ?

A: A majority of DSLRs and mirrorless cameras are inherently limited to recording up to 29 minutes and 59 seconds in a single recording. Once that duration is reached, recording stops. You are able to record multiple clips of 29:59 but they would all be separate and you would need to start each recording manually. The good news is that this limit usually does not apply to live-streaming or any functionality that does not involve recording directly to the memory card. Aslso, camcorders and several newer models of mirrorless cameras do not possess this limitation.

Q: 8. What's in the creator kit??

A: Sd Card, Rode video mic go and 15-45mm Lens...

Q: 9. Someone steals our camera when we were travel I wonder do you guy have a warranty for that?

A: We offer a SquareTrade Protection Plan which covers accidental damage due to drops or spills, it does not cover theft, though. There is Travel Insurance available on the open market, and your homeowner's insurance company may offer traveler insurance. I would just caution you to do your due diligence as not all plans are the same, nor do they cover 100% of the replacement cost.

Q: 10. Does it have a time lapse setting in camera?

A: Yes
