A: According to Manfrotto this product has a Diameter of 0.9" / 23 mm for the clamp (round tube) with a Clamp Range of 0.47" / 12 mm minimum (round tube). The clamp range seems to put it right at 35mm as with your past remote.

A: You can trigger the record with this controller on the C70. However, there is no iris control. You can also control the zoom and focus ONLY with the Canon CN-E Servo Lenses.

A: The FLM 47GX Centerball Tripod Head with SRB-40 QR Clamp has a friction tension knob. You can adjust the friction tension by tightening or loosening the friction tension knob. If you open the friction tension knob all the way, the main ball adjustment knob will be the only knob that will prevent the head from moving.

A: This control cannot make any Canon camera zoom any lens attached to it. Canon L lenses do not have zoom motors and any Canon video lens requires its own zoom control.
