The Integra Plus 500W/s Monolight with FREEMASK provides the control and power most photographers require, whether it's commercial, portrait, wedding, or industrial photography. The Hensel Integra Plus is a 500W/s multi-voltage monolight, which makes it useful worldwide, with a simple changing of the modeling light and plug adapter (both available separately).
This model offers a 6-stop range down to 1/32 power, which makes it perfect for photographers using digital cameras. It also features a built-in, 4-channel Hensel Strobe Wizard radio slave receiver, compatible with the Hensel Radio Slave Trigger, which is available separately. This head includes FREEMASK technology which is used like chroma keying to composite images. Used with the required, optional FREEMASK transmitter, the head automatically varies the flash output in sequential exposures to create a mask.

FREEMASK is a studio technology developed by Hensel together with Schoepe GmbH which
varies the flash output in short sequential exposures to create layer masks with minimal post-processing. (Requires optional FREEMASK transmitter)
The smart 300W modeling light goes far beyond conventional full and proportional power operation. An electronic system continuously monitors the unit's operation, ensuring that after an adjustable time (5 - 90 min.), the modeling light power is reduced to a preset value. As soon as the unit is reactivated, the previous value is restored.
Economical and easy to replace
Protection during heavy applications

Q: 1. I want to purchase this kit. I'm just wondering if I will be able to use it together with 2 SB-910 Nikon flashes using the Profoto Air Remote TTL-N. Do I need to purchase anything on top of these to make it work?
A: If you purchase the Profoto universal Transceiver for @ SB-910 or use the Optical slave in the SB-24
Q: 2. Does your D2 fan runs in standby mode? Also I hear a rattle inside the unit
A: Yes, the fan in my D2 runs as long as the unit is plugged in. A firmware update for the D2 improved a color temp mismatch between it and my D4 powerpack/Acute head system and I hoped it would also stop the fan after the D2 had cooled, but no. I've gotten used to unplugging the D2 when I feel it has cooled off. A pain definitely but not that big a deal, for me at least, the fan is noisy enough that I haven't yet forgotten to unplug it.
Q: 3. Can this be triggered by a Godox xpro-c flash trigger ?
A: No, the Godox XProC TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Canon Cameras is not compatible for use with the Geekoto GT400 400Ws Monolight. According to the manufacturer, the Geekoto GT400 400Ws Monolight is only compatible with our GEEKOTO Commander Trigger (for TTL automatic exposure usage needs and for use with the built-in wireless radio receiver inside the flash).
Q: 4. What portable battery can I use. I shoot mostly on location
A: I used the MiniVagabond, it worked fine but there are limitations if you want to use HSS. Will require you to shoot in low power mode which results in a slower power recycle.
Q: 5. Can the Profoto D2 1000 Air TTL be connected to an external power pack, and if so what type?
A: The Profoto D2 1000Ws AirTTL Monolight is designed for AC power usage. If you wish to use the strobe on location, you would need to purchase a power inverter strong enough to handle the above strobe. As a recommendation, I would recommend either the Photogenic Ion Lithium-ion Pure Sine Wave Inverter System, B&H # PHION, which should give you approximately 360 flashes per charge with approximately 7.5 second recycling time, or the Hensel Power Max L Lithium Mobile Power Supply (120VAC), B&H # HEPML120, which should give you approximately 220 flashes on a single charge with the recycling time 50% longer than your current recycling time when plugged into a standard AC household outlet.
Q: 6. Profoto specifications for the D2 1000ws model indicate that in HSS mode, the flash will maintain accurate color and fire from 10/10 power down to 6/10 power (for Canon). Most strobes in HSS lose about 2 stops of total output some more. Can you estimate what the max output is when using high Speed Sync? I asked Profoto and didnt receive an answer. Im wondering if 10/10 power is HSS is equivalent to an output of 250 ws for the D2 1000ws. James provided feedback indicating his ability to essential match sunny f16 lighting conditions firing at 1/8000 sec shutter speed at f2.8. Thats a pretty good indication of greater than 200ws depending on the modifier used. Any additional feedback on the power capacity in HSS mode would be greatly appreciated.
A: As per Profoto, a D2 1000 AirTTL monolight would give you a max output of 1000 watt/sec when using high speed sync.
Q: 7. Is his compatible to use with DJI FPV drone?
A: The DJI Goggles Integra is compatible with DJI Avata, O3 Air Unit, and Digital FPY System.
Q: 8. What sync cable is compatible?
A: The Profoto D2 1000Ws AirTTL Monolight uses a standard 1/8" (3.5 mm) sync terminal on the monollight light fixture. The sync input is located on the bottom of the unit as pictured on page 9 of the Profoto D2 1000Ws AirTTL Monolight's included instruction manual (labeled as #14 in the image). If you are looking for a recommendation, the Profoto Sync Cable for D1 Monolight, B&H # PRSCD1, or the Impact Sync Cord Male Mini (3.5mm) to Male PC (16'), B&H # IMMMPCM16, would both be compatible for your usage needs.
Q: 9. I've always wondered how the TTL in Profoto heads have any idea how much light to produce. From my understanding, the TTL information is coming from the camera's computer using light coming Through The Lens. So, that information is correct for the distance of the camera sensor to the subject. But, the camera's computer doesn't know where the Profoto head is located. If the head is the same distance to subject as the camera sensor, then it should be accurate, but if the light is further away, the result should be incorrect on the dark side, and conversely , if the head is closer to the subject, it should overexpose, all using the same TTL information. My question for speed is, at what wattage per second is the D2 achieving 1/63,000 sec (500 W/S model), or 1/50,000 sec (1000 W/S model)? With my B1's, if I need fast flash speed, I sometimes need to gang up 2-4 heads to keep my light output at a usable level. I would love it if the flash was controlled to actually cut off at the faster time, without a light tail. That technology would enable higher output while maintaining the short flash duration. If the D2 has the ability to hit a fast flash duration while at full power, I would add it to my studio immediately.
A: According to Profotos specifications for the D2, the 500 AirTTL unit has a flash duration of 1/63,000s at 1 watt/sec and while the 1000 AirTTL unit has a flash duration of 1/50,000 at 2 watts/sec. Both of these measurements are applicable when the monolights are set to freeze mode.
Q: 10. What is the modeling light power compared to that of a B10?
A: Profoto uses a different rating for each light's modeling light. But from what we see the B10 modeling light is at least 2 or more times brighter compared to the A2.
