A: The Q8 can be powered using either the internal rechargeable battery, or via USB. To power via USB, you can either use USB bus power from a computer or a Zoom AD-17 power adapter (sold separately) to connect to a wall outlet.

A: Yes it will, this Monopdo has a FLUIDTECH Panning Base. You will be able to get smooth panning shots from the base of this monopod.

Q: 10. It says that the foot connector MVMXPROBASEUS is 1/4 20 and I am just curious if I can use a Kessler Kwik plate to ensure rapid detachment of the legs for storage?

A: The MVMXPROC5US has a 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 connection at the top which will allow you to attach a quick release system directly to it. You will be able to mount B&H #KEMG1001 to this monopod.
