A: We have no reports of that combination and it is unsupported by warranty. That being said, the top plate of the tripod would be the crucial question. Most likely that is an industry standard diameter, so we think the chances are better than 50/50 it will attach.

Q: 2. Does the mic input provide phantom power? if so, what?

A: The Native Instruments TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 MK3 does not provide phantom power with the mic input.

Q: 3. Can the Quantum QF-82 be used on-camera using the Trio/Trio Basic?

A: I would not recommend using the Quantum Instruments Beauty Dish on the Quantum TRIO flash mounted onto your camera. Depending on your camera and lens combination, the Quantum Instruments Beauty Dish may be too large and bump against the lens. It would definitely block the Autofocus Assist Light and the Auto Sensor on the front of the unit, and is not recommended if you are using either of these for your images. You may try it on your equipment to see if it works with your gear combination, but you may get better usage from usage on a light stand.

Q: 4. I have the GorillaPod Hybrid (the old one) will this be compatible with the Rig Upgrade?

A: Yes, the Joby GorillaPod Rig Upgrade will work with the "GorillaPod Hybrid".

Q: 5. is this adaptable with 1K kit version?

A: Not that we are aware of. This is only listed for the 3K and 5K GorillaPod Kits.

A: This software requires first that you have the Matrox VS4 Quad HD Capture Card. From there Matrox recommends a Workstation Caliber PC that uses a 64 bit version of windows. I would recommend a computer like the HP Z230 F1M26UT Tower Workstation. It has a 3.6 Ghz Quad Core i7, 16gb of ram, a 256gb SSD, 4gb graphics card, Windows 7 Pro + Windows 8.1 Pro License and USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 2 ports. It would work very well with the VS4 Recorder Pro for your application.

Q: 7. I'd like to use a threaded bolt to mount this to the ring mount on my macro lens so I can use it to hold my 2 small macro flash heads. I don't think the mounting unit is threaded, it just slips over the tripod bolt? If so, would it be possible to attach to the ring mount?

A: You're correct - the rig itself has no threads and is wedged between the Joby legs and the head (as depicted) or any item you would attach to the legs directly. The Joby 3K and 5K are both 1/4"-20 and come with 3/8"-16 bushing adapters, so they will fit almost every typical photo accessory out there. The upgrade mounting ring will then sit between the Joby legs and your ring light as long as its protuberances don't get in the way of your ring light fitting.
