In this DVD, you'll learn how to customize the camera to certain shooting scenarios as well as how to set up the D7000 with shortcuts. Irrespective of where you're shooting - indoors or out, stills or video you'll get more insight into achieving more dynamic exposures. In addition, you'll learn more about how to control color and make it work for you to set a tone or mood in your image. The numerous Picture Controls within the D7000 will allow you to tailor your shots to convey more sensitivity to your images. Ultimately, this DVD will get you away from menus and more into shooting.

Q: 1. Would Nikon's ML-L3 wireless remote shutter release work with Nikon's p1000?

A: According to Nikon's website, the ML-L3 does not work with the P1000. The ML-L7 is the correct remote.

Q: 2. How long is the camera with the lens fully extended?

A: Extended length is 12".

Q: 3. Can the P1000 shoot videos and can it shoot for an unlimited/unrestricted time?

A: The Nikon Coolpix P1000 Digital Camera can capture UHD 4K video (3840 x 2160) at 25p/29.97p, Full HD video (1920 x 1080) at 25p/29.97p/50p/59.94p, and standard HD video (1280 x 720) at 25p/29.97p/50p/59.94p. Q: 5. How fast is it from turn on to focus to shoot? I bet not as fast as my DSLR.

A: We were not able to find any mention regarding power on speed, fast or slow. Once in our store, we will be able to test. Our opinion is that you are probably right it will not turn on as fast as a DSLR but it will still be more than adequate for its many fans.

Q: 6. For video: What is the 4k bitrate and is there a 29minute recording limit?

A: I have not yet seen bitrate info. Yes, there is a 29 minute time limit on video recording, according to preview articles I have read.

A: No. The RRS L-plate for Nikon D7000 with MB-D11 grip will not fit on the Nikon D7100 with a MB-D15 battery grip.
