Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. When retracted are the bristles sealed or are the tips exposed?

A: The bristles will be retracted completely, but in order to seal them, you need to put the cap on the pen.

Q: 2. Can you use this for the oculus quest...it specifically says use a microfiber cloth.

A: Yes, this is totally fine for the Oculus.

Q: 3. Compared to RoR (Residual Oil Remover) how does it perform? About the same? Thanks much.

A: While I have not personally used the Pancro Professional Lens Cleaner, the lens cleaning solution was rated the best lens cleaning solution at the Camera Assistant Olympics. I personally use and recommend Residual Oil Remover (ROR), but I do plan to try the Pancro Professional Lens Cleaner and I expect both to be very competent in cleaning multi-coated optical glass with little to no residue.

Q: 4. Suitable for dji sUAS?

A: Yes, the Lenspen MicroPro Small Lens Cleaner is compatible with DJI lenses.

Q: 5. Can Pancro be used to clean Ipad screens?..thanks..

A: Currently, there have been no tests confirming that the Pancro Professional Lens Cleaner is safe to use for an Apple iPad.

Q: 6. can this be used to clean eyeglasses?

A: Yes, It is the best lens cleaner I have ever used, although it is expensive. I will keep buying it though because it works and does the job of cleaning expensive lens to any electronic devices.

Q: 7. what are the brush bristles made of?

A: This LensPen brush's bristles are made of lens-safe polymers, while the opposite Cleaning Tip surface is covered with a special Invisible Carbon compound that removes the fingerprint oils.

Q: 8. Does this product contain isopropyl alcohol?

A: It is isopropanol 67-63-0 per MSDS info that the company publishes. I also have a 32 ounce bottle of 99.9% isopropyl alcohol (67-63-0) technical grade cleaner that I bought for $8. Pancro is isopropyl alcohol. Both clean my lenses. But marketing as a professional lens cleaner makes it 20 times the cost.

Q: 9. Do you use lens papers or microfiber cloth to apply the solution to the lens?

A: I've always understood that it's best to apply the solution to a microfiber cloth and then gently use it to clean the lens, after first brushing or blowing any loose material off. That method works for me and doesn't run the risk of solution getting into the body of the lens itself.

Q: 10. It can be used on eyeglass lenses - OK. What about eyeglass lenses that have an anti-reflective coating? Not all lens cleaning solutions can be used on anti-reflective coated eyeglass lenses. Thoughts?

A: Hi there! Our cleaner is great for eyeglass lenses! It will not harm any coatings and is trusted to be used on very expensive movie lenses. Hope this is helpful!

I used to use the Zeiss lens cleaning solution, and that solution really leaves a lot of streaks that are hard to get rid of. This B+W lens cleaner allows me to clean my lenses so that there are no streaks. It's a real night and day difference. I cleaned one of my most expensive lenses with it, and it left it looking brand new!

I use a lot of B+W filters and figure they know something about cleaning them and their multi coatings. I found this cleaner to be among the very best I have used. It cleans, it doesn't streak, it doesn't smear, and it doesn't leave residue when applied properly. It just works great and does not harm coatings or lenses. I have used it after others have failed, and was pleasantly surprised.

I’ve tried different lens cleaners and they all left some streaking. Some more than others. B+W did not. Definitely my new go to lens cleaner. I mostly use it on filters.

I was able to clean some 'gunk' off of a coated polarizing lens without any damage. It also got the nose grease of my glasses with little effort.
