Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this a fish-eye lens?

A: This lens produces a a 105.9 angle-of-view when used on cameras with APS-C-sized sensors. In order to get a fish-eye you would need a lens with a 180 view. For contrast, a 38mm lens on a APS-C sensor will produce a 43 FOV. What you will get with this lens is a very wide image with minimal barrel-distortion.

Q: 2. Will e.g. a Nikon Z 70-200 2.8 stick/protrude through the opening in the middle when attached to a body ( in other words - are the rails on the bottom long enough to allow for a 70-200 lens to be used?)

A: Yes a Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8 Lens would protrude through the center of this Godox Ring Flash Head.

Q: 3. I see this isn't listed as a full frame lens, I own a Canon 5d mark IV any issues for full frame cameras?

A: While you could mount this on your 5D Mark IV, it is not recommended for you to do so. That is because the resultant image will have severe blackening of the corners known as vignetting. There are no affordable 16mm full frame lenses. But your are in luck in that there are 14mm full frame lenses available. Here is one we can recommend. Rokinon 14mm T3.1 Cine DS Lens for Canon EF Mount B&H # RO1431C.

Q: 4. Will this lense work with the Nikon D3100?

A: The Nikon D3100 is an DX/APS-C size sensor camera and this is a DX/APS-C lens so you are good to go.

Q: 5. Will this work with a super 35 sensor? More specifically Ursa Mini 4k?

A: Yes. APS-C is Super 35

Q: 6. Can the bracket that mates the flash to the camera be mounted to a tripod, i.e. is camera+flash tripod mountable as a unit?

A: Yes, the bracket on the Godox Ring Flash Head for AD200 and AD200Pro Pocket Flashes has both a 1/4"-20 and a 3/8" female receiver built into the bottom of the bracket for tripod compatibility.

Q: 7. Can this be used with the Sigma 105mm?

A: Yes a Sigma 105mm lens will fit in the center of the Godox Ring Flash Head for AD200 and AD200Pro Pocket Flashes.

Q: 8. A reviewer notes that the AD200 Godox Ring Flash Head doesn't have high-speed sync. This is incorrect, right? Clearly, you should be able to use this like any A reviewer rated the product poorly, noting it does not have high-speed sync. But it does, just like any other Godox R200 gear, syncing to use TTL and HSS. Right?

A: Currently we do not have enough information on this light. Because we do not yet have it in stock we cannot test it. We should have more information posted soon as it comes out.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the BlackMagic Ursa?

A: It is not. This link is for a Sony E-Mount lens. More than likely the Ursa will have an EF mount which means you would need BH #RO1622C instead. This is the EF mount version of this lens. https://bhpho.to/2vBDebd

Q: 10. in aps-c camera it's produces 16mm or 10mm

A: The Rokinon 10mm T3.1 Cine DS Lens will always be a 10mm lens; it cannot change. What changes is the FOV (Field of View) it produces on different sensors. On an APS-C camera, this lens provides a 96 FOV. To get a 96FOV on a Full Frame camera, you would need a 16mm lens. In the long run, I suggest dropping crop factor for it causes confustion. Learn what the wide-normal-tele lens focal lengths are for the sensor you are using then drop calculating FOV equivalents for a sensor size you are not using.
