A: The manufacturer of the Viltrox DC70 PRO 7" 4K LCD On-Camera Monitor (B&H #VIDC70PRO) does not list a brightness rating in the specifications for it. However, we would estimate it at about 300-400 cd/m² which would make it usable in typical indoor ambient light. That's in the same range as the brightness level of similar monitors at its price level, and also that of a screen of a typical sub-$1,000 laptop PC.
