A: You can scan 8X10 prints and other reflective material but not 8X10 negatives. 120 negatives or transparencies is the largest film size that this scanner is capable of scanning.

Q: 3. The specs indicate scanning of 35mm slides. I have read comments for other scanners that older style paper mounts need to be trimmed. has anyone actually scanned slides with the V600? I dont want to have to hand trim the 100's of slides I want to scan.

A: Sure, I've scanned a lot of 35mm slides. They fit fine in the supplied templates. No trimming required.

Q: 4. Does this scanner support 4x5 negatives?

A: No, it handles 35mm, 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 and film such as 120 1nd 620 that is 2-1/4 wide. To see what I have, I can scan 1/2 of a 4x5 negative or transparency by cutting up one of the film holders.

Q: 5. will the V600 photo scanner work with on 220 volts with a transformer?

A: This only works on 120 volts. With a proper transformer to that voltage it will work.

A: No, there is no film holder that will work with 127 negs.

A: Yes, actually nearly all software for recent-vintage peripherals is available from manufacturers' download sites. So you DO need internet access for a download, but a CD-ROM drive is not necessary. You can also download users' manuals. Go to Epsonn's website. A: Yes, unit will allow scans of 2 35mm strips with 6 frames at a time. For the best results we advise adjusting and fine tuning your scan settings and 35mm film holder tray.
