Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the weight of the lamp head and yoke?

A: The weight of this unit with the yoke attachment is 24.6 lbs.

Q: 2. What adapter do I need to use this with Profoto boxes?

A: Depending on the softbox you would need either a Profoto OCF or RFI speedring.

Q: 3. Regarding battery operation, I understand according to Aputure's documentation that 15A batteries are required to power the 300d II, based on the logic of 350W max power draw requires (12V * 15A) * 2 = 360W. My question is, if I own many 12A batteries, is there a safe way to use them with this light, by capping the output following this equation: 12V * 12A = 144W max draw 144W is more or less 40% of 350W So one battery should provide safely and reliably 40% of total output capacity. 2 batteries should provide 80% of total output capacity. Meaning if I underpower the light using these values, I should be ok. Is that logic sound?

A: I contacted Aputure concerning your inquiry. Below is their response: "Any V-Mount batteries are safe to use on the LSC300DII V-Mount units. However the more power they have, the longer the unit will work under battery power at full power. Your customer can use two batteries that they own to power the LSC300DII V-Mount unit. The more amp hour power the battery has, will allow the unit to last longer under battery power. If you customer is only going to be using the unit at 50% of full power, then they should get a good amount of time under battery power. The equation your customer listed below is fairly accurate. However the LSC300DII V-Mount unit needs high power batteries for it to operate at full power full a good amount of time."

Q: 4. Is the case that come with the product safe for travel?

A: Please don't buy V-lock mount plate because the package comes with a V-lock mount plate.

A: It is possible. You would need a inverter and battery of adequate size.

Q: 7. Does it need two gold mount batteries to work or can you have one battery to work?

A: Yes, both batteries are required for the Aputure LS 600d Pro Daylight LED Monolight (Gold Mount).

Q: 8. Does this monitor do false color?

A: False color is not present on this product.
