I have always liked the 35mm equivalent focal length for this kind of shooting. The 25mm gets more use when I am out intentionally looking for art. The 25mm contributes more pictures to my portfolio; the 17mm gets me more of my favorite snapshots. Buts that's just the way I shoot. Both lenses make fine pictures.
