Stop stray light from entering your lens with the Sensei PRO 67mm Aluminum Lens Hood, a screw-on type hood that attaches to most lenses with 67mm front filter threads. This hood will work with lenses 50mm and longer on full frame cameras or 28mm and longer on APS-C sensors. Lens hoods are primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. Also, since the end of the lens is extended and the hood features a durable anodized aluminum construction, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact. Additionally, users can attach 77mm filters to the front opening and it has a non-glare matte finish on the inside to prevent reflections.

This will step up to a 77mm filter thread / 80mm outer diameter to match adapted photo lenses to dedicated cine lenses. It is very economical and very well made. I use a Sensei 77mm lens cap in front which works great. 5

Works great on my Fuji X100v with screw-on tele-adapter. There is no vignette, and it helps protect the lens from both light and bumps. I use this with a neoprene lens-sock for walking around. 5

I recently bought a Pentax digital medium format camera from B&H of course with a couple of manual focus lenses. These don't come with dedicated lens hoods. So, how to protect the front glass? A filter goes literally into the way, and you won't always get the best technical result possible. A collapsible rubber hood collapses on impact. The only solution for me is a metal lens hood. Let me tell you why Sensei: I don't like fiddling with the lens cap inside the hood; Sensei has a thread at the end of the hood. So you just need a fitting lens cap to close the front opening. 5

The original hood that comes with the Nikon Z 85mm 1.8S is much bigger than I'd like so I picked this one up as a smaller option that I can leave attached all the time. It looks great on the lens, feels solid and it is so much more compact. 5

Well made, and does the job. I picked up a 62 and 67 as smaller options to larger oem lens hoods. The sensei pro stickers are also just that - stickers. Easily removed after warming them with a hair dryer, if you're picky like me. :) 5
