A: 1) adjust the position of the rocker control on the tripod grip by loosening the brass nuts then retighten the nuts when the rocker control is where desired on the tripods arm.2) Zoom adjustment is by pressing the tab of the rocker down to right or left. Zooms in or out depending on which side you press on the rocker tab. Press lightly gives slow zoom or more pressure to zoom in/out quicker.3) I haven't attempted to adjust the speed at which that the rocker tab come from the factory.It is a nice unit much better than using the controls on the video camera. After the first time I used a friends I went out and pick this one up.Hope this helps
