I cannot live without this in my house. I hate bugs so much and this allows me to trap and release without having to touch them in any way. Bonus for kids that LOVE bugs. They get a good closeup look through the magnifying glass. 5

I bought this for my bug-crazy 8-year-old niece and it was a huge hit! She can now safely and humanely capture insects, spiders and other small critters and have a good look at them before releasing them back. There are plenty of magnifying boxes out there, but this is an ingenious design that allows kids to catch bugs without having to handle them. Brilliant! 5

This works great at catching creatures, especially spiders. Takes some attention as you have to make sure all edges are flat against the ground or wall or whatever surface the creature is on, or else the creature could escape! The thing I don't like about it is the plastic handle has a weird texture and there is also oil on the sliding mechanism. But I think the advantage of its use outweighs the minor cons. 5

These are good fun. just place over a bug, slide the lever forward, and the yellow bottom slides forward, capturing bugs for examination. Magnifies well so you can really make out details in bugs. cool 5
