Q: 1. Does the dovetail mount support standard ARRI Dovetails?

A: Unfortunately the Movcam dovetails do not follow the ARRI dovetail standard.

Q: 2. Does the bag (Rugged - STREAK 15 Shoulder Bag) that comes with the kit, fit the Sony a6000 with the 16-50mm lens on, plus the 55-210mm on the side? Need to know if I have to buy another bag to carry all this.

A: Short anwer is no. The bag is rather small and will carry the camera and one mounted lens but has no rooms to carry extra lenses.

Q: 3. Will this set of 3 components work in high speed sync with a Nikon D500( up to 1/8000 second)?

A: All these triggers do are trip the strobes.. the rest is up to the camera and strobes. TTL does not work with my Nikon D750. The strobe has to be on Manual for it to trigger it.

Q: 4. Will a Sony A7ii fit in this cage?

A: We have not tested this so the combination is unknown. The a7S is (WxHxD) 5.0 x 3.7 x 1.9 / 126.9 x 94.4 x 48.2 mm. The a7II is (WxHxD)5.0 x 3.8 x 2.4 / 126.9 x 95.7 x 59.7 mm. The big dimension of width is the same. The height is 1.3 mm's different: I do not think this will be a deal breaker. The front to back is 11mm bigger but I think that is less an issue. Besides the size, access to the battery and all controls are a consideration with any cage. At this time we will have to wait for Movcam to come out with a a7II cage to be sure.

A: Yes you can use full frame lens into Sony a6000 you remember factor crop 1.5

A: B&H only carries the NTSC version of the a6000. We do not carry the PAL version.

Q: 7. Can the timecode cable be attached with Camera in cage?

A: Yes, this cage allows the attachment of the GH5S Time Code cable. You can see that the connection is not obstructed in the main image on the web page.

Q: 8. Will the Sony HVL-F43M flash and Sony ECM-XYST1M stereo mic work on the A6000?

A: Yes they would both work, but you can only use one at a time.

A: I would check in your flash menu to see if you can control triggers via hot shoe. It works great on my Nikon D7200. Eithet in manual or semi auto (p or s)
