Formatt Hitech 85 X 85mm Low Contrast #3 Filter
- Product Code: ga264888
-
The Hitech 85 x 85mm Low Contrast #3 Filter provides a noticeable reduction in contrast across the image. Lower contrast results in greater shadow detail when properly exposed. This filter is ideal for use during midday and other high contrast lighting situations when it is difficult to control both overexposed highlights and underexposed shadows.
This filter measures 3.35 x 3.35" / 85 x 85mm and is compatible with the Cokin P filter holder. There is a 3 stop density that aids in providing less contrast across the scene by allowing the use of longer, more controlled exposures.
Compatible with Cokin P Holder Low Contrast for More Shadow Detail 3 Stop Density CR-39 Dyed Resin

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Would I really benefit from owning this lens if I already own the Sony 27-70 2.8 GM and 70-200 2.8 GM?
A: If you are shooting portraits and want the best bokeh and sharpness, etc... then I would go with the 85mm. If you shoot occasional portraits, then you could stay with what you have.
Q: 2. How does the image quality compare to the Canon 85mm 1.8?
A: I used to shoot with the EF85mm 1.2 and at the same aperture, the lenses would be very similar in their drawing, I think the Sony is sharper.
Q: 3. Is this lens contains the latest 3.0 firmware? (Or should I have to find a lens station for it? Because I would like to use it with R6 and older firmwares have some issues)
A: The Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 Lens for Canon RF is a fully manual lens and it does not have firmware.
Q: 4. How well does this lens auto-focus on the Ronin 4D?
A: The DJI Ronin 4D 4-Axis Cinema Camera can only accept lenses compatible with the Zenmuse X7 Camera, so the Panasonic Lumix S 85mm f/1.8 Lens will not be compatible. You can find a list of compatible lenses here: https://bhpho.to/3BvecMJ.
Q: 5. Is this lens compatible with a Panasonic G7?
A: The Panasonic Lumix S 85mm f/1.8 Lens has a Leica L mount and will not fit the G7 camera. You can use this 75mm Olympus lens instead: https://bhpho.to/3Mh8Szf
Q: 6. For the manual focus setting: is this focus by wire or physical? I mostly shoot with vintage full manual lenses and I'm used the more physical dynamic. Whenever I use my one focus by wire AF lens the different figuring feel drives me a little batty.
A: PIDA257CBFBK has a double linear AF motor itself that affords quick, quiet, and smooth focusing performance, and this motor also offers snappy manual focus performance for fine-tuned control with an intuitive physical layout that incorporates a customizable focus hold button and a physical AF/MF. You can easily turn manual focus on the lens and use the ring to have a smooth manual focus performance.
Q: 7. Is this optically different from their F-mount version?
A: The optical design is the same for both lenses. Only the mount is different.
Q: 8. Does your lens make a small click(aperture blades) when changing aperture on the camera?
A: No, there is no click when changing the aperture.
Q: 9. How this lens compares with the Canon EF version? It looks like EF lens + adapter is lighter than the RF lens. EF + adapter length is the same as the RF length.
A: They have the same number of lens elements and lens groups. They have the same number of diaphragm blades. They have the same coatings. They are both manual focus and both don't have image stabilization. It is the same lens, the RF mount just has the adapter built in.
Q: 10. Does this lens have an infinity focus?
A: if you mean does it have a hard stop at infinity - no
