Designed for close-range applications with the ability to reach out a bit further, the Barska 1x30mm Red Dot Reflex Sight features their 3-Dot Crossbow reticle that has three stacked 3.5 MOA dots that allow you to precisely place your shots—even if you're shooting straight ahead, uphill, or downhill. The sight is powered by one included CR2032 battery, and a rheostat allows you to choose from 11 intensity levels so you can set the brightness based on your personal preference or light conditions. Zero the sight to your gun at 1/4 MOA per click using the capped low-profile windage and elevation adjustments. Measuring just 3.75" and weighing under 5 ounces with a body made of anodized lightweight aluminum, it won't weigh your weapon down when mounted, and it is sealed to be waterproof and fogproof. The sight is equipped with an integrated mount for easy installation on Picatinny/Weaver rails. Primarily intended for crossbows, its compact and lightweight design makes this the perfect aiming solution for pistols, rimfire rifles, shotguns, and blackpowders. This version of the 1x30 dot sight comes ready to use with a battery and caps.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. So what is the MM equivalent for a Fujifilm XH-1 or XPro-3?

A: The Fuji cameras have a 1.5 crop factor, so this lens will have an angle of view similar to a 600mm lens. It will still be a 400mm magnification.

Q: 2. Can the lens hood be reversed and stored on the lens?

A: The Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens for Nikon F's lens cap cannot be reversed and stored on the lens.

Q: 3. If I use this lens on a D500 that has a cropped sensor, will the true focal length be somewhere around 600MM ?

A: The angle of view of the Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens for Nikon F on the D500's crop sensor would be roughly equal to the angle of view of a 600mm lens on a full-frame image sensor.

Q: 4. I just got this lens for an Olympus EM1-ii. Can't seem to get the focus peaking to work. Works fine with the one other manual focus lens I have. Is there some limitation with being 400mm or f/8?

A: According to Olympus, they state this must be an isolated lens issue. There is no in-camera reason for lack of focus peaking. You simply need to customize a button to focus peaking usage. Tap the selected customized button to turn on focus peaking, and tap the button again to turn off the focus peaking feature. If there is still no focus peaking, then it is really a lens issue as focus peaking depends on contrast to work; no electrical lens contacts are needed.

Q: 5. Is the "donut-shaped bokeh" what we otherwise know as "circles of confusion"?

A: No. The sharpest point of focus on a camera's sensor would be a single point on the camera's sensor. "Circles of confusion" describes the small area of what our eyes would perceive to still be in "acceptable focus," but which do not fall as single points of focus on the sensor. They are circles slightly larger than a single dot (point), but which are small enough to still be perceived as in focus. Bokeh describes the quality of the out-of-focus area in an image, so "donut-shaped bokeh" are not perceived as being in focus and is not considered circles of confusion. --- The distinctive shape of the bokeh from mirror lenses comes from the design of the lens and the placement of the reflecting mirror in the center of the image. Light enters the optical tube, passes a small mirror, and strikes a concave mirror at the rear of the tube. The light is focused back toward the small mirror and reflected back through a hole in the concave mirror where the camera or eyepiece is mounted. The result is bokeh with a bright edge and a relatively dark center (similar to a donut).

Q: 6. Is this lens gas-filled as a hedge against atmospheric aberation?

A: No, the Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens for FUJIFILM X is not a gas-filled lens.

Q: 7. I bought this lens with the f mount adapter, but I'd like to use it with my Canon EF camera. Where would I buy the EF adapter?

A: The Tokina TA0012 SZX T-Mount Adapter for Canon EOS, BH #TOTA0012, allows the Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens for Nikon F to mount on a Canon EF camera.

Q: 8. Do this need and/or come with an adaptor for Fujifilm. Is this lens auto focused, or totally manual focus?

A: This lens comes with an adapter and is manual focus only.

Q: 9. Has anyone used this lens on a 90D or another camera that doesn't have focus peaking or vibration control? If so, were you able to get reasonably sharp photos without camera shake being an issue?

A: It's definitely going to be a bit more difficult focusing with a 90D or DSLR that doesn't have stabilization or focus peaking. I would recommend using a tripod and a shutter remote to maximize stability. Even with focus peaking and stabilization, the lens still requires critical focusing.

Q: 10. I already have T adapters for several cameras (e.g., Canon 5DIV and RF). Will this lens work with those adapters or only with Tokina's adapter?

A: This would be compatible with the T adapters that you already have.
