As such, if you were looking to buy a new transmitter and update the firmware for use with their LED lights, you would be better to buy the Rotolight-optimized transmitter as it will work out of the box.

If you wish, you may connect a Skyport Plus HS transmitter for Nikon or Canon on a Fujifilm camera, but you would not get TTL automatic exposure or Hi-Speed sync capabilities when using a Skyport Plus HS transmitter not designed for your camera brand. You would have to set the flash output power manually when using a non-dedicated Skyport Plus HS transmitter.
