Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Just to clarify, will this Sony adapter work off a Sony A1 to connect flash triggers, such as the PocketWizard , to trigger strobe lights?

A: Yes you can use the Westcott Sony Adapter for FJ-X2m Flash Trigger with other manual flash triggers. This too will work with manual pocketwizards, https://bhpho.to/2AOISc7

Q: 2. Is this comparable with a Canon 7d?

A: Yes, with the 3 pin cable for Canon 7D.

Q: 3. can I connect to the 2.5 plug, trigger a time lapsed video electronically?

A: The software has the ability to do time lapse with your camera. If you have a camera that will start and control a timelapse from a input for a wired remote it should work ok. Try reading info on the Pluto webpage.

Q: 4. Does the XMTR work correctly in Europe? No problem with frequencies?

A: While the Bowens XMTRC Flash Trigger for Canon will work in Europe, do note that the units we carry are designed to comply with the United States' FCC radio rules as mentioned on page 5 of the flash trigger's instruction manual. As Europe has different frequencies for citizen usage, the frequencies used by the Bowens XMTRC Flash Trigger for Canon might not be legal for usage in Europe, but it will still wirelessly trigger a Bowens XMT monolight that was purchased here in the United States.

Q: 5. Will this connect with yongnuo yn-560 vl?

A: It does not use the same frequencies. You would need a receiver to use it with a YN560.

Q: 6. Will the Bowens XMTRC or the others trigger the older Pulsars?

A: Unfortunately, this trigger would not work with the older Bowens Pulsar units.

Q: 7. Will the cable accessory for Sony cameras work with my Sony Alpha 900 DSLR?

A: The cable works perfectly with the A7RII

Q: 8. I have a Canon EOS 4000D, and have not found a remote that is compatible. Is this one?

A: Unfortunately you would need a shutter release port to plug the corresponding shutter release cable into, and it appears that the Canon 4000D does not have that port.

Q: 9. Will the Ares II Flash Trigger Transmitter work with a Phottix Atlas II receiver? 1 of my 2 units went south on me.

A: I contacted Phottix concerning your inquiry. According to Phottix, no, the Phottix Atlas II receiver is not compatible for use with the Phottix Ares II transmitter. The Phottix Atlas II and Phottix Ares II have different frequencies and are not compatible with one another. The Phottix Ares II would be compatible with the Odin II, Strato II, and Odin Lite line of remote triggers and they recommend upgrading to the newer Ares II flash triggers.

Q: 10. Doe it works with Sony a7 ii?

A: Yes this would work with your Sony A7II.
