A: Hi Samuel, I just got the cage to be used with the A7S and it fits like a glove. The A7R, I believe, has the same body so you should have no problem. Taking the camera out of the cage requires younto remove a couple crews, it's not hard, but it does take a minute. With that said, the cage is light enough that stills with the cage on wouldn't be impossible. The camera still fits nicely up to your face a d you can remove part of the cage to get a better angle on your controls. As for the XLR-K1M rig, the cage has two hot-shoe mounts and you can still get to the one on the camera so you should be all set there. It really is a great set up. Hope everything works out. Logan

A: it has 2 X 1/4 and 2 X 3/8 on LEFT, RIGHT and TOP on the handle. NOT on the bottom of the handle.

A: We have not tested this so the combination is unknown. The a7S is (WxHxD) 5.0 x 3.7 x 1.9 / 126.9 x 94.4 x 48.2 mm. The a7II is (WxHxD)5.0 x 3.8 x 2.4 / 126.9 x 95.7 x 59.7 mm. The big dimension of width is the same. The height is 1.3 mm's different: I do not think this will be a deal breaker. The front to back is 11mm bigger but I think that is less an issue. Besides the size, access to the battery and all controls are a consideration with any cage. At this time we will have to wait for Movcam to come out with a a7II cage to be sure.
