Bellows adjustment allows for maximum flare protection and adjust from 35 to 150mm.

The rod support system takes the weight off the camera lens and allows bellows and vertical adjustments.

Allows for more light control from lens flare.

4x4 Glass Filters can be used with one stationary holder and one rotating for polarizers and gradient filters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Two questions: 1) is it necessary to use a lens designated as macro with this bellows and 2) if using a lens without a manual aperture ring (Nikon), it will stay wide open, is that right?

A: Question 1, no you don't need to use a macro specific lens with the bellows. Question 2, the bellows unit doesn't any sensors on it to connect with your camera, meaning everything is going to be manual. The rails on the unit do get in the way at times if you plan on using a ring flash.

Q: 2. Can I use the z mount 105 micro lens with this bellows?

A: Yes, you can use the FotodioX Macro Bellows for Nikon Z with the Nikon NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S.

Q: 3. Does this bellows work with the canon 5d mark IV without using an extension tube?

A: You can use this bellows with out a extension tube.

Q: 4. I noticed it has a hole in the front. in the old Nikon PB-4 or PB-5 models you could use the PS-5 slide copying attachment. Does anyone know if the PS-5 will work with this Fotodiox nodel?

A: Yes, it will attach.

Q: 5. Hypothetically, could you adjust the rails to turn this into a tilt shift adapter too? Mainly using it at the shortest distance so it doesn't effect infinite focus? Also is infinity focus effected when the bellows are fully retracted?

A: It can not be used for tilt shift. It is a macro rail so it can not go to infinity.

Q: 6. How does this mount to a tripod head? Does it mount to some sort of plate, and the plate mounts the tripod head?

A: There is a mounting screw / threads on the bottom of the back plate. No extra hdwr needed

Q: 7. what adapter can be used to attach a Nikon enlarger lens with L-39 threads?

A: Fotodiox makes a Nikon F to L39 adapter, click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/336ypp5

Q: 8. Can I use this with a 100mm canon macro lens to copy slides

A: You can but there won't be any autofocus or aperture control if you're using a contemporary lens.

Q: 9. Is there any provision for setting the f/stop if this is used with current lenses without f/stop ring?

A: Unfortunately, a Pentax K mount lens would need to have an aperture ring in order to use the Fotodiox Macro Bellows properly.

Q: 10. What's the maximum useable lens diameter? Everything I own takes a 77 mm filter.

A: The diameter has no bearing, the lens mounts to the bellows via the rear mount.
