When you use the Ultra Studio monitor it removes your operating system from the equation. The UltraStudio Mini Monitor enables DaVinci Resolve software to send a 10-bit image directly to your monitor. It also means that any calibration tuning etc will have to be done in Davinci instead of the operating system.
