A: The main flat part of the Impact ME-108P Monitor Mount Adapter is constructed with aluminum. Only the pin and the lower portion is steel which would work with magnetic gear.

A: This Impact Speed Ring cannot be adapted to fit a Norman 450 Series flash head.

Q: 8. Will this fit the ad400 ?

A: The Ad400Pro comes with a Bowens adapter. After you attach it this will work.

Q: 9. Will this speed ring fit the elinchrom brx500 light?

A: Yes. A little wiggling to get it to latch an unlatch but is secure when you get it. A bit of wiggling to get it off. And that is the same for D-lite RX 4 set and the 250 as well. They all share the same mount housing. Necessary for Larger soft boxes. I use it to mount the BRX 500 to the Impact 39 Oct. Deep Soft box. Beautiful light.

Q: 10. Is this safe to use on a video light, such as the Aputure 300d II? I was wondering if it could handle sustained heat.

A: The Impact Snoot for Select Impact/Bowens S-Mount Strobes is compatible with Impact Monolights (except the EX100A) as well as Bowens, Travelite, Cowboy, Interfit Stellar, JTL, Photoflex, Rime Lite, and Westcott flash heads. It should be safe to use with a video light such as the Aputure 300d II; it would just be a matter of if the light can accommodate one of the flash head types previously listed.
