A: The Nikon MC-DC2 Remote Release Cord works like the shutter button. And if the shutter is set to shoot multiple times it will do the same.

A: It does have a delay - and a slider that hold until you release it (so many seconds) to take the image

A: Unfortunately, the MC-DC2 does not work on the Z50 or Z fc. Neither camera has a remote cable slot.

A: My Nikon D610 also has Assign Shutter Button so it should work. (Thank you Nathan R. for that tip. This was a menu item I'd never noticed)

A: There is a physical slider button that holds down the shutter button indefinitely until it is slid back, so I would assume any exposure limit with be in the camera itself.

A: It works fine with my D5000. I don't own a D810.
