Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be used on a Canon T5

A: Absolutely! In fact, the second set I purchased was cut into smaller shapes and distributed for use with flashes we have in the classroom. They work GREAT!

Q: 2. Is compatible with Yongnuo YN-E3-RT II ? thanks

A: The Yongnuo YN560-IV Speedlite, B&H # YOYN560IV, is not directly compatible for use with the Yongnuo YN-E3-RT (or the new Yongnuo YN-E3-RT II) Wireless Speedlite Transmitter. To use the flash with these transmitters, you would have to separately purchase the Yongnuo YNE3-RX Wireless Flash Receiver for Canon Speedlites and Yongnuo Flash and Transmitters, B&H # YOYNE3RX. Do note that as the Yongnuo YN560-IV Speedlite is a fully manual flash, it would only trigger using the above setup, and would not allow you to wirelessly control the flash output from the transmitter; you have to set the flash output manually on the flash itself, but the above setup would trigger your flash wirelessly.

Q: 3. I already own YN-622N i-TTL (transceiver and TX control kit) and I use it with my YN685 Speedlight. My question is, If I want to use both flashes do I have to buy any additional trigger/ transceiver to be used with the YN-560-IV?

A: It's very easy to do. Just your flashes can see each other. You should choose the right channel, for example, s1, and when one flash works with the trigger, the other one can be connected by an optical slave.

Q: 4. I believe the YN-560-IV has an external power supply port, but what type of power sources are compatible?

A: The same connection as the one for canon flashes.

Q: 5. Would this work for a canon rp ? Does it matter do I need to buy that works for a specific brand ?

A: This is a universal flash and will work with any camera in auto or manual mode but not in TTL. If you want a flash that is TTL with the RP, then I would recommend the Yongnuo 565. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/2vm5COG

Q: 6. is this compatible with canon 700d

A: It is compatible with a canon 70D thats what I have. Works great

Q: 7. Does it work Nikon d3200

A: Yes this flash will work on Nikon DSLRs like the D3200.

Q: 8. Hi..will this work with my nikon d5200? Im planning to buy if this one work for my camera. Any answer will be appreciated.

A: I do not use a Nikon, however my son (a professional photographer) uses this with Pentax. Previous to my purchase I asked what all it would work with and I was informed that it works with any camera that has a standard hotshoe for the trigger, or on the camera. The only camera I know of that does NOT use standard size hotshoe is Sony. Therefore, I am 99.9% sure it works with any Nikon. I love this flash (purchased 4 of them) ---so I would so go for it.

Q: 9. Will this flash work as a slave in manual mode with a yne3-rx? I only need to set power remotely? I do not need TTL functions

A: No I don't believe so. It seems to be designed to work with several e-TTL Yongnuo flashes, but not the fully manual YN560-IV. I have the YN560-IV as well as it's predecessor the YN560-III. I trigger them with the YN560-TX and it works wonderfully. You can adjust the flash power and zoom of each flash separately without having to walk over to the flash. Just make sure to get the correct brand compatibility (Nikon/Canon). Another option is to set the flash to 'Slave' and use the pop up flash on your camera to trigger it.

Q: 10. Is this flash compatible with a Sony RX10 III?

A: no is not for sony
