A: The i60a for Fuji combined with the Air 1 or Air 10 porvides all functions (TTL, HSS, etc.).

A: Yes. The i60A has the built in receiver just like the Di700A so it will work with the Air 1 Commander for Sony. This flash is expected to ship in mid May so please place your order now to insure that you will get one when they begin shipping. This will be a very popular flash.

Q: 3. Will this flash include the latest firmware that supports HSS for Fuji mirrorless cameras?

A: The latest firmware does have HSS. Unfortunately, you do have to send it in to NEID (located in NH). Took mine about 10 total days from the time they received it to having it delivered to me (in CA), so not too bad.

Q: 4. Will this work on a Sony a7s ii? If i buy two of these will I have an issue triggering the second flash off camera?

A: Yes they make a .version for every major camera make. For off-camera their is the air commander 1 from Nissin that will trigger the flashes and keep TTL capacity of the flash in the process.

Q: 5. I am using a Fuji X-E2 and considering either the XT-2 or X-Pro2 for my architectural shoots. I fire my off camera flash units with my Pocket Wizard radio transceivers. I wanted to know if I the Nissin i60A will work with this combination?

A: You may use PocketWizard Radio Remotes with the Fujifilm X-E2 Mirrorless Digital Camera and the Nissin i60A Flash for Fujifilm Cameras. However, the Nissin i60A does not have an external sync terminal for connecting a radio remote to the flash, so you would need to purchase a hot shoe to miniphone adapter, such as the Impact SCS-M18 Mini Plug to Hot Shoe Sync Cord (12 ), B&H # IMSCSM18, to connect the flash to your PocketWizard remote.

Q: 6. Does this have a focus assistance light? can the led be turned on for focus assist? using a transmitter and receiver for Sony flash hlv60 can the two work together with TTL? and setting power ratio? can it work as a wireless master attached to the hot shoe?

A: The Nissin i60A does have an AF light. However, depending on the camera you are using it may not activate. Many mirrorless cameras have an AF light built into the camera body. If this is the case, then the AF light on the flash will not activate.The LED cannot be turned on for focus assist.With the Nissin Air 1 Commander and Air R receiver, you can use your Sony hlv60 in conjunction with the I60A off camera and maintain TTL control.The i60A cannot act as a master when attached to the hot shoe. It has only a receiver in it.Hope that helps.

Q: 7. Hi. Why I can't shoot the Missing i60a with a higher shutter speed when I place the flash upwards? I want to increase my shutter speed but it only lets me go up to 1/250 - when I activate HSS it works but turns off if I point the Nissin i60a upwards. Please help?

A: The Sony camera does not allow High Speed Sync, HSS, to be used when the flash head is in a bounce position. Therefore, HSS is only available when the flash head is in the 90-degree position. Why? HSS significantly reduces the power output of the flash, which means under most conditions there wouldn't be enough light output from the flash to light your subject after bouncing it off a wall or ceiling.

A: Yes, it works perfectly with the Air 1 Commander.

A: Overall, this flash does have more bells and whistles compared to the SB-700. The Nissin will have a faster recycle time, greater variation in its power range, radio communication, as well as more groups and channels. Overall, power output is the same between the two but functionality, the i60A has more to it.
