They have made this version easy to assemble. The overall package sets up within a few minutes and is still packed nicely on arrival. The new plate design has some limitations in terms of what hardware you can use, however, but nothing that would be a deal breaker.

I am extremely happy with this teleprompter. It is just what I was looking for! I had no issue at all connecting it with my camera and the whole set up was an ease. I've got several components I use during my work, such as light stands, beamsplitters and tripods I had no issue pairing the teleprompter with any of these, which is really quite useful, as I only need one teleprompter for most of the things I use. Also, what I really liked was the fact that no riser is necessary for positioning, which allows me to keep the camera stable throughout the adjustments. The LCD monitor is compatible with all sorts of outputs, from HDMI to VGA, which means I never have issues reading from any device. I use the Mac version of the software, although Windows is supported, as well.

I have been a DP for 20 years and have tried many different teleprompters on the market. This prompter Ive found to be rugged, fits every camera I own, and best part it is made of metal. Too many plastic products break all the time when used. I bought this because I know it will take my travels around the country and also the drops of the baggage people in the airlines. The adjustable scissors mount allows me to use my F55, HPX 3000, FS5, or even my DSLR.

This is a simple, sturdy unit that has a really nice feature in that the prompter and camera mount are combined into a single unit making balancing very easy. The built-in height adjustment for the camera is terrifica as well, easily accomodating a smallish video camera as well as larger rigs with baseplates, rods, etc.. Fair warning, the entire unit is very bulky and you'll need a long case to carry it assembled, or something like a Pelican 1620 if you carry it broken down. Also, I didn't see a good way to protect the mirror other than inserting a piece of foam between the mirror and iPad tray during travel. Not a deal breaker, but moderately annoying. Function is excellent - talent likes it and it is far easier, safer and more professional than trying to jerry-rig something.

This is the best teleprompter, I've ever used. This has not only made my life simpler, but it has also helped me to do my work faster. This is lightweight and can easily be carried with you. Apart from its excellent features, the thing which I liked most is that its software supports 9 different languages which enable me and my colleagues to use this product without any kind of linguistic barrier. I would definitely recommend this to other production members.

We bought these back in Feb of 2011 for our TV Studio Cameras. They are great!! Nice big text ... easy to read. The software installs on any PC and works great. Only suggestion I have is that they improve the reverse speed on the shuttle pro controller. Sometimes you need to back the text up quickly and it doesn't have a fast speed. Other than this it is a great package.
