The black EVF-1122S Single 12” 2-Way Full-Range Indoor Loudspeaker System from Electro-Voice can be used in a variety of applications where high-quality sound reinforcement is required. It utilizes the high-output ND2B 2” titanium compression driver, coupled with a constant directivity 60° x 60° waveguide. The SMX2121 12” woofer uses FEA optimization for motor, suspension, and electrical design to ensure very low distortion, high efficiency, and maximum intelligibility at high SPL. The crossover uses steep, 24-dB-per-octave slopes with equalization for smooth response in the vocal range, linear off-axis response, and a protection circuit for long-term reliability.

The trapezoidal enclosure of the loudspeaker is constructed of 13-ply birch, and coated with EVCoat for maximum protection from external elements. The acoustic and rigging design allows for vertical and horizontal clusters to be built using any combination of loudspeakers from the entire EVF and EVH series. The input panel includes dual 4-pin 10 AWG Phoenix connectors. An externally accessible jumper selects passive or active operation.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How fast can this camera focus?

A: Sigma fp L Mirrorless Camera focuses very quickly, I have not perceived any delay in regular use. There is some delay when the subject has no contrast for example a white smooth wall or in low light. The delay will depend on many factors for example how low the available light it.

Q: 2. Is it possible to program one of the buttons to switch between AF and MF seeing as there's no dedicated focus switch on the camera?

A: Yes, you can.

Q: 3. Is it possible to transfer photos/videos directly to your phone via USB-C?

A: It is impossible to transfer photos/videos directly to your phone via the USB-C with the Sigma fp L Mirrorless Camera with EVF-11 Electronic Viewfinder.

Q: 4. Is there a hot shoe on the EVF?

A: No, there is not. If you wish to use hot shoe flashes with the Sigma fp L Mirrorless Digital Camera, you would have to use the included Sigma HU-11 Hot Shoe Unit mounted on the camera. Unfortunately, you cannot use the Sigma HU-11 Hot Shoe Unit and the Sigma EVF-11 Electronic Viewfinder simultaneously.

Q: 5. What is the Travelers Kit How much is it & what does it consist of?

A: The basic GX85 package includes 1 battery plus an external power supply that can power the camera or charge the battery slowly when it's inside the camera. The travel pack has a 2nd battery plus a battery quick-charger. I received the travel pack as a bonus when I bought my GX85.

Q: 6. Are there any plans for higher frame rates like 4K 60p or 1080 240p for external recording via firmware updates?

A: We not aware of firmware upgrades for higher frame rates for the Sigma fp L at this time.

Q: 7. Is this better than Olympus m10 III ? And why ? What about optical zoom?

A: I would say it is comparable. I bought the GX85, because I already had a Panasonic GH4; it handles all the same lenses I already had, and it has many of the same features of the GH4.

Q: 8. So current fp cages should work with this?

A: The compatible cages for the Sigma fp L are listed here: https://bhpho.to/3w21kqa

Q: 9. If you use an APS-C lens on this FF camera, how many megapixels are in the resulting images?

A: The resulting image will have 26 megapixels.

Q: 10. I don’t know why the camera has only 1/15 flash max sync. It look so slow compared with other brands ?

A: This camera is not designed with flash use in mind, so they sacrificed sync speed.
