The white EVF-1181S Single 18” Front-Loaded Indoor Subwoofer System from Electro-Voice is a high power, front-loaded bass element that can be used in a variety of applications where high quality sound reinforcement is required. It utilizes the EVS18SB 18” woofer developed using FEA optimization for motor, suspension, and electrical design to ensure very low distortion and maximum intelligibility at high SPL levels. The trapezoidal enclosure is coated with EVCoat for maximum protection from the elements. A: The lens has yet to be released so the final answers regarding all focus features is not yet known. However, according to a Sony rep, the lens is focus by wire, so the lens does not have traditional focus markings and hard stops. The lens however is parfocal and will maintain focus while you zoom in/out while in AF or MR. In addition, Sony has addressed many cine issues such as breathing, parfocal focus, and axial shift all in a constant aperture lens with excellent zoom range for its intended camera for an excellent price. We shall see soon how this lens does.

Q: 2. What's the difference between this lens and the one that comes with the FS-5 Kit?

A: The kit lens is the Sony E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G OSS. The 18-110mm offers 6.1x high zoom ratio, high res suited for 4k movie production, SMO, three separate focus, iris and zoom rings, SteadyShotTM in-lens image stabilization, and a lightweight design with dust and moisture resistance.
