A: I bought this for traveling because of its size, especially when I am walking around most of the day. It has no spike. Collapsed it will fit in carryon and can go in luggage without adding significant weight.

A: The Manfrotto XPRO Fluid Base works perfectly when combined with this, and does not add significantly to the size or weight. Its the best combo I could find for a self standing travel monopod.

A: If your talking about the item B&H # BEVT2 MFR # VT2, then yes. I purchased that one recently from B&H and it fits fine. I would just be careful and not exceed the weight limit for the legs or even let go of it when there is too much wind or anything, it's no tripod. I haven't tested it to it's max or anything, just my opinion on it. I'm ok with my purchase of it though for my purposes, and for it's cost, I'm glad I bought it.

Q: 9. Does this work with the Oben BE-117T Ball Head?

A: Yes, the CTM-2500 has the option of both 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch mounting studs. An Allen wrench is supplied with it to make the switch. Then it should just screw on and lock with the Oben locking system. I have not used, nor am familiar with the Oben ball head, but the specifications indicate that it needs a 3/8 inch mounting stud.

A: Unfortunately not. The Manfrotto foot is only designed to work on the Manfrotto 694 and 449 monopods.
