A: Hello. The NexStar 6 SE is my first telescope so I did some research on information about it on the net. Mainly I found out that the star alignment is a little tricky for novice users, which I confirm after having bought it although it wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected. After a few atenpts I was able to get it up and running smoothly. Other than that I find that it has a very good image quality, has a very sturdy mount and is fairly easy to transport. I am very satisfied with it and would recommend it.

A: The objective is twice as large and you can get good 200x magnification with the right eyepiece. Depends what you want to look for.
