The NIkon 1 J5 is under 2 pounds there is no problem mounting this on the Weebill S. the Iphone XR is also well within the weight capacity of the Weebill S as long as you get a tripod mount for the phone (so that it can be attached to the quick release plate) it will work with this gimbal.
